Clinical Hypnotherapy
Explaining Clinical Hypnotherapy
Clinical HypnotherapyClinical Hypnotherapy is a treatment that accesses the subconscious mind, by deeply relaxing both mind and body to enable a person to make desired changes on mental, emotional and physical levels. Many issues can be treated using hypnotherapy. Here are a few examples:
- Smoking Cessation
- Weight Management
- Boosting confidence & self esteem
- Alleviating fears & phobias
- Managing stress, anxiety & pain
- Past life regression
Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, brought about through relaxation, concentrated attention and suggestion, there is nothing magical or mysterious about it and it is TOTALLY safe and natural. People enter the state of hypnosis several times a day without even trying or realising. A good example of this is whilst driving (have you ever had that feeling… “Am I here already! I don’t remember going through those lights – or round that roundabout.”) and Daydreaming is another good example.
As a hypnotherapist, Theresa helps a client to deeply relax, so that the state of hypnosis is achieved, and then uses visualisation and suggestion to apply therapy to enable her client to make their desired positive changes.
